Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") are intended to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between MyTravel (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") and its users, as well as other necessary matters related to the use of the AI-powered travel planning service provided by MyTravel. These Terms apply to all members who use the Service, and by signing up for the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows.
- "Service" refers to all travel-related features provided by MyTravel through its website and mobile applications, including AI travel plan generation, itinerary management, and social sharing.
- "Member" refers to a user who has signed up for the Service in accordance with these Terms and logs in using an email or social media account.
- "Content" refers to all information created, modified, or shared by Members within the Service, including travel plans and photos.
- "AI-generated content" refers to travel itineraries, recommended information, weather forecasts, and other content automatically generated using artificial intelligence technology.
- "Account" refers to the combination of email, password, or social media login credentials set up by a Member for identification and service use.
- "Affiliated services" refers to third-party services such as flights, accommodations, and local tours provided in connection with the Service.
Article 3 (Service Description)
The Service provides the following features.
- AI-powered travel plan generation — When users enter a destination and travel dates, the system comprehensively analyzes recent travel trends, local weather, popular attractions, and transportation information to automatically generate an optimal travel itinerary.
- Manual travel plan creation — A manual mode is available for users who prefer to build their travel itinerary from scratch without AI recommendations.
- Itinerary management — Free editing features including adding, deleting, modifying, reordering, and adjusting times for activities in generated travel plans.
- Local information — Travel convenience information tailored to the itinerary, including real-time weather forecasts, time zone differences, and currency information.
- Social features — Social networking features including travel plan sharing, browsing other members' travel feeds, following, and liking.
- Expense management — Recording travel expenditures and splitting expenses among travel companions.
- Travel archive — Archiving completed trip itineraries and records for viewing at any time.
- Photo upload — Uploading and managing travel cover photos and activity photos. Uploaded photos are optimized and stored in WebP format.
- Multilingual support — Supporting 17 languages including Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, German, French, Thai, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Arabic, Indonesian, Hindi, Italian, Russian, Turkish, and Malay.
Article 4 (Registration and Account)
1. Registration Process
Users who wish to use the Service may register through one of the following methods.
- Email registration — Register by entering a valid email address and password. After registration, email verification must be completed to access all features.
- Social login registration — Register conveniently through Google, Apple, or Kakao accounts. Email verification is automatically processed for social login registrations.
2. Account Management
- Members are responsible for keeping their account information up to date.
- Members may not share or transfer their account credentials (ID, password) to third parties.
- If unauthorized use of an account is discovered, it must be reported to the Service immediately.
- We recommend setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced security. Please store your backup codes in a safe place when enabling 2FA.
Article 5 (Service Use)
1. Terms of Use
- The Service is provided 24/7 year-round in principle, but may be temporarily suspended due to unavoidable circumstances such as system maintenance.
- Core features (AI itinerary generation, itinerary management, weather information, etc.) are provided free of charge.
- Data communication charges incurred during service use are borne by the Member.
2. Prohibited Activities
Members shall not engage in the following activities when using the Service.
- Stealing others' personal information or registering with false information
- Interfering with Service operations or using the Service through abnormal methods
- Using automated means (bots, crawlers, etc.) to access the Service in bulk
- Distributing obscene, violent, discriminatory, or illegal information through the Service
- Interfering with or causing discomfort to other Members' use of the Service
- Exploiting or attempting to discover security vulnerabilities in the Service
- Unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial use of Service content
- Any other activities that violate applicable laws and regulations
Article 6 (Intellectual Property)
- Intellectual property rights to the Service's software, design, logos, and trademarks belong to the Service operator.
- The right to use AI-generated travel plans is granted to the Member who created them. Members may freely modify, share, and use their AI-generated travel plans for personal purposes.
- Copyright to content posted by Members (travel plans, photos, etc.) belongs to the respective Member. However, the Service may use such content free of charge for service operation and promotion purposes.
- Members shall not copy, distribute, or commercially use other Members' content without authorization.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
- AI-generated travel plans, attraction recommendations, weather information, and similar content are provided as reference information only. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of such information.
- Operational hours, fees, traffic conditions, weather, and other factors at travel destinations may change in real time. The Service is not responsible for any disadvantages arising from such changes.
- Members are responsible for any judgments or decisions made based on information obtained through the Service.
- The Service is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, wars, terrorism, hacking, or DDoS attacks.
- The quality, safety, and performance of services provided by third parties (affiliated accommodations, flights, local tours, etc.) are the responsibility of the respective service providers.
Article 8 (Advertising)
- The Service displays advertisements through Google AdMob (mobile app — banner, interstitial, app open, and rewarded ads) to cover operational costs. Web Google AdSense will be applied upon future approval.
- Advertisements are placed at appropriate locations within the Service and are designed not to excessively interfere with users' experience.
- Responsibility for advertising content lies with the respective advertiser. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of advertising content.
- Users may remove all advertisements with a Premium subscription.
Article 8-2 (Premium Subscription Service)
1. Subscription Plans
In addition to the free plan, the Service offers the following paid subscription plans.
- Premium Monthly — $3.99/month (auto-renewal)
- Premium Annual — $29.99/year (auto-renewal, approximately 37% discount compared to monthly)
2. Premium Benefits
- 30 AI travel plan generations per month (Free plan: 3 per month)
- All ads removed
- Priority AI processing and enhanced recommendations
3. Payment and Renewal
- Subscription payments are processed through Google Play Store (Android) and Apple App Store (iOS) in-app purchases (IAP).
- Web browser subscription payments are not currently offered.
- Subscriptions are automatically renewed at the same rate unless auto-renewal is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- To cancel auto-renewal, please use the subscription management menu in your device's app store settings.
4. Refund Policy
- Refunds for mobile app payments are processed according to the Google Play Store (Android) and Apple App Store (iOS) refund policies respectively.
- The Service does not process refunds directly. Please request refunds through the Google Play Store customer support.
- After subscription cancellation, premium features remain available until the end of the current billing period.
5. Transition to Free Plan
- Upon subscription cancellation, you will automatically transition to the free plan after the current billing period ends.
- All previously created travel plans and data are retained when transitioning to the free plan.
- On the free plan, AI travel generation limits (3 per month) and advertisements will be reapplied.
Article 8-3 (Account Deletion)
- Members may request account deletion at any time through the "Delete Account" feature in the profile settings menu within the Service.
- For email-registered Members, account deletion is processed after password verification. For social login Members, account deletion is processed after identity verification.
- Upon deletion, all of the Member's personal information, travel plans, photos, social data, and other data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Information required to be retained under applicable laws (e.g., e-commerce transaction records) will be stored separately for the legally mandated period before being destroyed.
- After account deletion, re-registration with the same email is possible, but previous data cannot be recovered.
- If a Member with an active paid subscription requests deletion, premium features will remain available until the end of the current billing period, after which the deletion will be completed. Auto-renewal will be canceled.
Article 8-4 (Data Export)
- Members may download all their data in JSON format using the "Export Data" feature in the profile settings menu within the Service.
- Exportable data includes account information, travel plans, expense records, notification settings, and other user data.
- Data export can also be requested via email.
Article 9 (Service Changes and Suspension)
- The Service may change all or part of the Service as needed for operational or technical reasons. Advance notice will be given for significant changes.
- The Service may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service in the following cases:
- Scheduled system maintenance or emergency maintenance
- Technical failures such as server issues or network problems
- Force majeure events such as natural disasters or power outages
- Other reasonable operational reasons
- In the event of service termination, Members will be notified at least 30 days before the termination date, and Members may export their data until the termination date.
Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)
- The interpretation and application of these Terms and disputes related to service use shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Lawsuits regarding disputes between the Service and Members shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
- If you have complaints related to service use, please first contact customer support via email ([email protected]) to attempt an amicable resolution.
- Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and customary practices.
Article 11 (AI-Generated Content Disclaimer)
MyTravel utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) technology to automatically generate travel plans. All AI-generated content, including travel itineraries, attraction recommendations, restaurant information, and travel routes, is provided as reference information only. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of such information.
- AI may recommend attractions, restaurants, or accommodations that no longer exist or have closed.
- Operating hours, admission fees, and reservation conditions for attractions may differ from reality.
- Travel times and routes may differ from actual conditions.
- Visa requirements, entry restrictions, and other legal requirements for specific countries or regions may not be accurately reflected.
- Cultural customs, local regulations, and safety information may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Users should use AI-generated information as a foundation for travel planning but must verify important matters (visas, reservations, safety, etc.) through official sources.
Article 12 (Travel Information Disclaimer)
Weather forecasts and place information provided by the Service are collected through third-party APIs (OpenWeather, Mapbox, Google Places, etc.) and may change in real time.
- Weather information — Weather forecasts are statistical predictions and may differ from actual weather conditions.
- Place information — Coordinates and place names depend on external data sources and are not guaranteed to be accurate.
- Safety information — Visa requirements, exchange rates, business hours, and transportation fares are NOT provided by this Service. Please always check official channels (government travel advisory websites, transit operators, currency exchange providers) directly.
Article 13 (External Links)
The Service may include links to external websites for user convenience. The Service is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of external websites.
Article 14 (Service Availability)
- The Service may be temporarily suspended during scheduled system maintenance and updates.
- The Service may be limited due to server failures, network issues, or third-party API outages.
- The Service bears no legal liability for service interruptions caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters.
- Users are encouraged to back up important travel itineraries offline or use the export feature.

Supplementary Provisions
- These Terms shall take effect on April 26, 2026.
- These Terms were last modified on April 26, 2026.
- These Terms also apply to Members who registered before these Terms took effect.
- When these Terms are amended, the reasons for the change and the effective date will be specified and posted within the Service alongside the current Terms.
